We had the wonderful Jo Little playing all her amazing hits while everyone talked ate and had a merry old time, we later had the big bon fire going and lot of folk had a sing along by the camp fire, it was such a nice way to catch up relax and enjoy our surrondings

The following night we had our Te Anau party, all our local agents and friends came along, we had another guitarist playing, it was a great chance to put a lot of names to face’s, Rosco being the Mayor of Milford had his robe and chains on and a special thankyou to Cakes by Kathryn for the birthday cake made

Then……On Sunday the 1st of April we had our annual “NUDE HOMER TUNNEL RUN”  wow what an event, this year we had around 90 nudies taking part, leaving from the Milford pub

it was all guns blazing as the boys came to the end with Mel waiting for the winning male and female to make there way down the tunnell, this year Sim took out the men’s for the second year in a row and Tara took out the womens for the 3rd year in a row!!! it was an outstanding effort by all involved

We have a big milestone coming up with Mr Rosco…it is his 21st birthday this month….as in business birthdays! (but saying that he doesn’t look a day over 35

so we have a couple of big events coming up with the birthday celebrations being held at the end of the month, also with the opening of our guides flash new accommodation alterations, they have been champs living on a building site, it is also the 10th year of our annual “Nude Tunnel Run” with proceed’s going straight back into the milford community, details to be announced

Our accommodation has been a buzz with the renovations being done to “The paddle on Inn” our guides house, with a soft opening of the complex at the end of March to celebrate, also this weekend is a big one for our local Milford residents (mostly the boys) with the annual “Lady of the sounds” competition this is always a super fun evening, with local boys dressing and performing dance, song, music numbers as girls!!  to our 3 judges, so if you are in Milford this coming weekend (3rd March) be sure to head along to The Blue Duck and help support the local lads

Our office welcomes a new face, we now have Kelly working at Adventure Fiordland so she may very well be answering your call’s if you ring for a booking, she has a great personality and we are loving working with her

It is also a big week this week with Bill English officially opening the new Road in Milford Sound, if you have been in Milford the last few months you  can’t help but notice all the changes that have happened with the flood protection project finished and all the accommodation in there spots, it has been a busy time for everyone involved and Downers have done an amazing job getting this job finished on time without any major set backs

So if you have not been into Milford for a while I suggest you head in say hi to our guides and take an amazing kayaking journey with us!

We have just completed two days of Kayaking:

Firstly the Milford track Paddle and walk with “skirts” and “Cam”-Whow-these guides are fantastic-My sister and I were the only clients that day, and we were so priviledged to have these two guides. They were not only informative and fun, but were amazingly nice guys who cared that we were “slightly” older clients-(Only slightly!). The weather was so wet that our shoes have still not dried, and with all our aches and pains we were not sure if we could/would make the next days “sunriser classic”…but we did, as the first day was so amazing.

Today we had the most wonderful guide Abby. She again was caring and very informative. We saw all the wonderful sights of Milford Sounds, penguins and seals. It was and will always be our “experience of a lifetime” and we will recomend Rosocs to all our friends in New Zealand!

Can’t believe more New Zealanders do not do your tours-What is the matter with them?????
