The Twilighter starts and finishes at the Milford Sound Lodge. We pick you up from the Lodge and transport you to Deep Water basin where you change into paddling attire. After boarding our water taxi; “The Milford Sea Ka”, we take you out beyond Stirling Falls.

Here we launch the kayaks and on completion of a full safety briefing we set off paddling towards the falls, cascading a huge 151m directly into the fiord. You have the option of paddling under the falls or simply admiring them from a distance. We continue along the north side of Milford Sound with up to 30 knot winds blowing you down the fiord. There are plenty of thrills and challenges for you. Experience kayak surfing and sailing at their best. Pulling round into the shelter of Harrison Cove, take a well earned break and chance to enjoy a snack while enjoying spectacular views of Mt Pembroke 2014m. Then back into the wind for more surfing, sailing and paddling down the fiord and into the Arthur river. Enjoy the magic Milford twilight in the closing stages of this adventurous sea kayaking trip. All too soon the day comes to an end but you can look forward to a nice cold bevy and an amazing new image collection of Milford Sound!
