Enjoy iconic views on a short & sweet kayak trip in Milford Sound NZ!
Meets end of Deepwater Basin Road, Milford Sound.
Enjoy a more relaxed paddle with postcard views of Milford and Lady Bowen Falls, the fiord’s tallest waterfall! This trip is ideal if you are short on time and suitable for all levels of kayak experience. A must do for first-time or novice paddlers, taking a shorter trip means you have more time to explore the winding Milford Road with its wonderful vistas. And you also have time to fit in a boat cruise or walk to make your day complete!
IS THIS TRIP FOR ME?
The Milford Cruiser will suit you if:
- You relish the chance to explore the fiord by kayak.
- You are happy to spend up to 2 hours paddling.
- You are happy not going the length of the fiord to the sea.
- You have lower levels of water confidence and physical fitness.
- Are 8+ years and over 25kg (Child 8-14 yrs, Adult 15+yrs)
Note: This is our shortest kayaking trip. If you fancy more of a challenge and would like to go further, might the Sunriser Classic suit you better? Or if the Cruiser still involves more kayaking than you would like, might the Paddle n Walk suit you better?
