A Quick Kayak in Milford Sound Fiord in NZ!

EXPECTS: A Quick Kayak Trip.
2 x 15minute Water Taxi and a 2 km. 45 minutes paddle. Departs Deepwater Basin.
The Harrison Cove Quicky is a 15 minute Water Taxi trip to Harrison’s Cove, you unload from the Water Taxi in to the kayaks and do a guided 45 minute paddle – load back on to the Water Taxi for a 15 minute Water Taxi back to Deep Water Basin, passing by the Bowen Falls, this trip is a quick paddle taking in views of Mitre Peak, Harrison’s Cove and the Bowen Falls.

The Harrison Cove Quicky trip will suit you if:

  • You are happy take a water taxi trip in potentially turbulent waters.
  • You want a quick kayak trip.
  • You want to take in some main highlights in a short amount of time.
  • For safety reasons this trip is for 16 years and over only, if bookings are made for children younger than 16, your trip may be cancelled on site by the guide and no refunds given.

Note: Spaces are limited on each trip. If you book a trip that turns out isn’t right for you, you are taking the space from someone who could have enjoyed it! We cannot refund you if your guide deems you unsuitable to paddle, so please choose with care. If this looks too tough, might the Sunriser Classic suit you better?

The Water Taxi trip can experience rough water and wind, this could negatively affect you if you have back issues/injuries.

16 years and older only – Children MUST be over 25kg to safely fit our safety equipment. Please note: warm clothing and wet weather jacket must be supplied by caregivers for children size 10 or smaller (no jeans or cotton). Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult in the kayak.
